About the Guides
I’m Chris, and together with my wife we spend a huge amount of time travelling, exploring routes across the UK and beyond.
Over the past few years alone, we’ve travelled more than 100,000 miles and spent hundreds of nights on the road, most of them off-grid.
We’ve owned and travelled in everything from a VW Transporter campervan, to a medium wheelbase campervan, and now a full motorhome.
So these guides are built around real-world travel across different vehicle sizes and setups.
We didn’t start out knowing what we were doing.
Like most people, our first trips were a mix of overthinking, worrying about everything, and getting things wrong.
We’ve parked in terrible places.
We’ve taken roads we shouldn’t have.
We’ve over-planned trips and under-planned others.
We’ve made all the mistakes.
And that’s exactly why these guides exist
How these guides are different
These aren’t generic travel guides.
They’re built around how motorhome and campervan trips actually work, realistic driving days, easy stopovers, and routes that flow properly without constant decisions.
Everything is designed to remove the uncertainty and make your trip feel simple.
• Routes that flow naturally without backtracking
• Realistic driving distances for larger vehicles
• Overnight stops built into the journey
• No complicated planning required
• Designed specifically for campervans & motorhomes
• Built from real trips, not desk research
Who these guides are for
These guides are designed for travellers who want a trip that just works.
They’re especially helpful if you:
• Are visiting Scotland, Norway, or Denmark for the first time
• Travel in a campervan or motorhome
• Feel unsure about route planning
• Prefer simple, logical driving days
• Don’t want to spend weeks researching
• Want everything connected into one journey
You’re not figuring things out as you go, you’re following a route that already works.
These guides remove the overthinking, the second guessing, and the constant planning.
Just follow the route, stop where it makes sense, and enjoy the trip.
That’s it.

I also share parts of our trips, route planning, and real-world travel on YouTube.
It’s the same approach as the guides — simple routes, real travel, and no overcomplication.
